Harlan Sealant Trip


For those of you who didn't know, recently I started dental school. Being a dental student and a photographer has kept me quite busy, but I love doing both and am grateful for the chance to obtain a good education. This past weekend a group of us traveled to Harlan, Kentucky in order to place resin sealants in elementary children teeth. Sealants are placed in deep pits and fissures of teeth in order to prevent caries from forming.
